LIBRE: Political Trials and Peace Process in the Basque Country
Two years after the definitive cessation of ETA’s armed activities the Spanish National Court will take 76 Basque Activists to trial for their political activities. 40 Members of the Youth Movement and 36 Members of political organisations. Each of them faces between 8 and 12 years of imprisonment.
Sabin del Bado, former member of the Basque Parliament and Ion Telleria, former youth activist will visit Edinburgh as a part of an International Tour to denounce the trials and speak about the ongoing peace process.
